Talent Show and Tell

Talent Show and Tell Wouldn’t it be fun to look forward to Monday every week? I think our class should have a Monday morning talent show. That would be one way to put our teacher and ourselves in a good mood for the rest of the week. All the class comedians could try out their latest jokes. Do you know why the chicken didn’t cross the road? He was chicken, of course! We could have a laugh meter based on how long everyone laughed. No booing allowed. Lots of kids are in band, but only a few get a chance to play a solo. Our Monday morning talent show would give us a chance to toot our own horns! My seashell collection of turkey wings, lightning whelks, and shark’s eyes would open some eyes. Then there’s April’s insect collection. You may get to see her giant June bugs! All our hobbies would be fun to share. A talent show would let us discover things about our classmates. And if we shared a few jokes, talents, and hobbies, we could start each week off with a laugh.
